The datasheet carries no PoE current item, so the WHSG24F01ATG should not be selected as a PoE part and its port has to be powered locally.
A design needing power over the cable has to change part at selection time — the centre taps carry no DC current rating, and no amount of circuit rework adds the capability afterwards. Among the 24-pin single-port surface-mount parts,oneprints both 360 mA per channel and 720 mA full channels, which removes the guesswork from a port power budget.
The temperature grade: the WHSG24F01ATG is rated -40 °C to +85 °C, theWHSG24015G0 °C to +70 °C.
Inductance, DC resistance, turns ratio, insertion and return loss, cross talk, common-mode rejection and isolation match value for value, and neither carries PoE. Choose the WHSG24F01ATG where the equipment powers up below 0 °C or runs above +70 °C for long stretches; in a temperature-controlled indoor setting either will do.
On tape and reel, 500 pieces per ø330 mm reel; two reels to an inner carton for 1000 pieces, and five inner cartons to an export carton for 5000 pieces.
The WHSG24F01ATG is a surface-mount part assembled by reflow. Reel counts are not uniform across packages in the100/1000 BASE-T range— another 24-pin single-port part ships 800 pieces to a reel — so plan production and material against this part's own figure.
