The HanRun HR228434 is a 1:1, 4-pin chip audio transformer used for low frequency coupling and isolation around 600 Ω lines. The windings are connected between 1-3 and 6-4 respectively, with an insertion loss limit of 2.0 dB at 1 kHz and a return loss requirement of 10 dB min. at 350 Hz, 1 kHz and 3.5 kHz. When selecting this type of device, the turns ratio is only the starting point. DC resistance, evaluation circuit and PCB terminal position will also affect the boarding result.
VOOHU WHTT4001 also uses a 1-3/6-4 four-terminal structure with a turns ratio of 1±2%. At 1 kHz, 1 V, the parallel inductance of the 1-3 winding is 1.7 H min.; the DC resistance on both sides is not exactly the same, 1-3 is 140 Ω max., and 6-4 is 170 Ω max. It can be put into the same round of 600 Ω, 1:1 audio isolation selection for comparison, but everything from the device appearance to the pads must be reviewed, and it cannot be judged to be directly replaced based on the closeness of the parameters.
Look at the electrical specifications and the dimensions directly related to the assembly together. The test methods for insertion loss, return loss and withstand voltage are not exactly the same, and a single number cannot be used to determine the substitution relationship.

Can WHTT4001 be a direct replacement for HR228434?
No direct conclusion can be drawn. Both are 1:1, four-terminal audio transformers, and the primary inductance and 1 kHz insertion loss are comparable; however, the secondary DC resistance, long side of the shape, pad, and withstand voltage test conditions need to be checked one by one, and the results of the sample onboard shall prevail.
If the turns ratio is the same at 1:1, can the materials be changed directly?
cannot. The turns ratio only shows that the turns ratio is the same, it still depends on the 600 Ω reference conditions, source/load impedance, DC resistance, return loss test method and PCB assembly boundaries.
What items should you focus on first when testing?
It is recommended to first build an evaluation circuit based on the line impedance and peripheral network of the target product, and then check the insertion loss and return loss at 1 kHz and low-frequency endpoints; then verify the insulation requirements, pad placement, and overall machine noise performance.
