DCR of 0.18 mΩ
Every part is listed at 0.18 mΩ ±10% DCR, against 0.32–0.47 mΩ for the other WHPBU series. Pick this series when copper loss, rather than inductance range or body size, limits the design.
Inductor products
WHPBU-100710N is the lowest loss option in the range at about 0.18 milliohm, with 70 amps heating current and inductance from 100 to 470 nanohenries. The taller body buys that headroom, so confirm the height budget before choosing it.

Series overview
WHPBU-100710N power bead inductors are low DCR inductors for high-current phases in multiphase VRMs, one per phase at the output of each power stage. They are also searched as high current power bead inductors or VRM inductors. Values run from 100 nH (WHPBU-100710N-R10L0) to 470 nH (WHPBU-100710N-R47M0), with 0.18 mΩ ±10% DCR and 70 A heating current on every part. For other trade-offs, see the WHPBU-131308N and WHPBU-100705N power beads.
Every part is listed at 0.18 mΩ ±10% DCR, against 0.32–0.47 mΩ for the other WHPBU series. Pick this series when copper loss, rather than inductance range or body size, limits the design.
Heating current is 70 A for every value. WHPBU-100710N-R10L0 and WHPBU-100710N-R12L0 hold 100 A and 80 A at 100 °C, above that figure, so temperature rise sets their continuous limit.
L-suffix parts such as WHPBU-100710N-R22L0 are ±15%; M-suffix parts such as WHPBU-100710N-R33M0 and WHPBU-100710N-R47M0 are ±20%. A wider tolerance widens the ripple spread between phases, so include it in worst-case checks.
At the high end, WHPBU-100710N-R47M0 is listed at 20 A at 25 °C and 15 A at 100 °C. Values above 220 nH suit fewer, slower phases whose peaks stay well below those figures.

Applications
This series fits phases where copper loss dominates the thermal budget.
A server VRM for CPU and memory rails pushes heavy continuous current per phase, which suits the 70 A heating current and 0.18 mΩ DCR. WHPBU-100710N-R10L0 and WHPBU-100710N-R12L0 fit a fast multiphase VRM.
Accelerator cards draw large, fast load steps. WHPBU-100710N-R10L0, listed at 117 A at 25 °C and 100 A at 100 °C, leaves wide saturation margin above its 70 A heating current.
Core rails on network processors and switch ASICs run hot inside the chassis. A low DCR inductor keeps heating down, and mid values such as WHPBU-100710N-R22L0 balance ripple against saturation margin.

Sourcing
WHPBU-100710N power beads are manufactured by VOOHU in its own magnetics factory in Mianyang. The downloads list a datasheet for each part number, with no 3D model or PCB footprint, so check body height and pads in the datasheet drawing.

Samples are available for evaluation, and selected parts are free of charge. Our FAE team will be glad to confirm the options for your project. Quotations need the part number, quantity per board and yearly volume; typical lead time is 7–10 days.
Send the part number and datasheet of the power bead inductor in your current design. Our FAE team compares inductance and tolerance, DCR, saturation current at both temperatures, heating current and footprint, then suggests WHPBU-100710N candidates to validate with samples before production.
VOOHU is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Since 2018 VOOHU has supplied more than 1,500 customers, including 150+ listed companies. Every WHPBU-100710N value comes from that Mianyang magnetics factory, as do the other WHPBU power bead series.
FAQ
Supply, which values saturation limits first, and a comparison with WHPBU-131308N.
Its DC resistance is about 0.18 milliohm, roughly half the 0.325 milliohm of the shorter 100705N in the same footprint family. Because copper loss rises with the square of current, halving DC resistance halves the heat at the same phase current, which is significant at tens of amps.
Heating current is 70 amps, the highest in the range, which caps the continuous RMS at the rated temperature rise. Saturation at 100 degrees spans roughly 15 to 100 amps depending on the inductance value you choose, so read the specific part number rather than the series range.
Height. The additional winding space that delivers the lower resistance and higher current comes from a taller package. If your design has a height restriction over the power stage, confirm the clearance before selecting this series rather than after the layout is fixed.
It gives flexibility. Spanning 100 to 470 nanohenries means one series can cover designs with different phase counts and switching frequencies. Lower values suit more phases or higher frequency, higher values reduce ripple where the frequency is lower. Derive the value from your ripple budget.
With a complete part number, send the part number, quantity, delivery region and the date you need it. If you are still selecting, send the phase count, per-phase RMS and peak current, switching frequency and the height available over the power stage.
VOOHU does, in its own magnetics factory in Mianyang, China. The factory also builds the other WHPBU power bead series and the WHYT molded power inductors, which helps when one board needs both kinds of inductor.
From WHPBU-100710N-R18L0 upward. WHPBU-100710N-R18L0 is listed at 65 A at 100 °C, below the 70 A heating current. The gap grows through WHPBU-100710N-R22L0 at 50 A to WHPBU-100710N-R47M0 at 15 A, so keep transient peaks under the hot figure.
The WHPBU-131308N page lists 45 A heating current at 0.32 mΩ DCR and hot saturation up to 105 A on WHPBU-131308N-R11K0. WHPBU-100710N offers 70 A heating at 0.18 mΩ for steady high current, while WHPBU-131308N reaches 500 nH.
