Series overview
An RJ45 combination connector puts an Ethernet port and another interface, such as USB, in one right angle housing at the board edge. It is also called an RJ45 combo connector, RJ45 combo jack or, with USB, an RJ45 USB combo connector. Most parts here are MagJacks (RJ45 jacks with integrated magnetics) rated from 10/100M to 10GBASE-T, and the rest are plain jacks. For RJ45-only stacks, see our 8P8C RJ45 connectors.
Most combination parts carry integrated magnetics, such as the 10/100M SYT711U2B083AB2W1DN359, which also has a PCB footprint. Plain versions such as SYTRT1188AB1A5DB1080, with Y/G LEDs, leave the LAN transformer on the board.
The Data Rate column for these MagJacks runs from 10/100M (SYT611B101AB2WD) and 100/1000M (SYT611U2Q008DB2WD) to 2.5GBASE-T (SYT711U3Q692AF5WDB2057), 5GBASE-T (SYT711U3Q798AE8WDBN5359) and 10GBASE-T (SYT711U3Q800DE5WDBN1359). Choose the rating that matches the PHY behind the port.
Common pairs are G/Y and Y/G, as on SYT611U3Q008DB2WD and SYT711U2B002AB1W1DN359. GO/Y, OG/Y and Y/OG options also exist, for example on SYT611Q009AF5A1D, and parts such as SYT611Q009GWW2D have no LEDs.
Every part here has a single RJ45 port with tab up in a 90° through-hole (DIP) body with shield tabs, rated −40 °C to +85 °C. That leaves magnetics, speed, LEDs and the EMI gasket as the choices to make.
Applications
They are common on rear I/O panels, where the Ethernet port sits next to other user ports.
Rear panels on boards and compact PCs often combine Ethernet with other ports in one opening. SYT711U3Q692DF5WDBN2359 is a 2.5GBASE-T MagJack for that position, with OG/Y LEDs and an EMI gasket.
A fast copper link in a NAS or workstation can use SYT711U3Q800DE5WDBN1359, rated 10GBASE-T with Y/GO LEDs and an EMI gasket, while SYT711U3Q798AE8WDBN5359 covers 5GBASE-T with Y/OG LEDs for slower links.
Box PCs, POS terminals and HMIs often use 100/1000M parts such as SYT611Q008DF5WD009, with GO/Y LEDs and an EMI gasket, rated −40 °C to +85 °C like every part on this page.

Several ports in one body, which saves panel width, reduces the number of parts to place and gives a consistent alignment across the ports. Depending on the part, that can be several RJ45 positions together or RJ45 combined with another interface in a single assembly.
The arrangement is fixed. You cannot change the spacing, reorder the ports or omit one position later without changing the part. Separate connectors cost more panel width and more placements but leave the layout flexible. Decide once the panel design is settled rather than before.
Each RJ45 position still needs its own differential pairs and, unless the housing has integrated magnetics, its own transformer. Ganged housings concentrate that routing in a narrow band of board, so check there is space for the pairs and the magnetics before committing.
It varies by part, and options that exist on a single port housing do not automatically carry across to a combination version. Check the specific part number, and if you need a particular combination of ports, shielding and magnetics, send the requirement to our engineers.

Yes. VOOHU manufactures RJ45 combination connectors in its own connector factory in Dongguan, China, mostly with integrated magnetics and in through-hole bodies with shield tabs. Datasheets are published for nearly every part and 3D models for most.
Parts with YES in the EMI / Gasket column, such as SYT611U2Q008DB2WD at 100/1000M and SYT711U3Q800DE5WDBN1359 at 10GBASE-T, add a gasket that contacts the panel opening. Choose one when the housing sits in a metal panel and the shield must bond to it.
