Start with the supply voltage your device needs. Compare EFD15 candidates for 5 V, 12 V and 24 V reference outputs; ask the FAE to review 3.3 V or other requirements. For isolated DC/DC power in PoE powered devices, check the controller, windings and board space. Know the part? Request samples or a quote directly.

Series overview
An EFD15 PoE transformer, also called an EFD15 PoE power transformer, steps port power down to the supply rail inside the isolated DC-DC converter of a PoE powered device. Each part has one main output: 3.3 V at 10 W, or 5 V, 12 V or 24 V at 13 W. EP13 PoE transformers offer the same 13 W outputs in an EP core.
WHTS15EF1665U is listed for 3.3 V, WH13F-50L for 5 V, WH13F-12L for 12 V and WH13F-24L for 24 V. Start from the rail that carries most of your device’s load.
WH13F-50L, WH13F-12L and WH13F-24L are listed at 13 W, so current rises as voltage falls: 0.41–1.0 A at 24 V, 1.08–1.99 A at 12 V and ≥ 2 A at 5 V.
WHTS15EF1665U is listed at 10 W with a 3 A output at 3.3 V. Other EFD15 parts are listed at 13 W. Have our FAE team confirm it for your load.
Shortlist by rail, then match the converter: turns ratio and conditions on the EFD15 transformer datasheet must suit your controller. A bias or auxiliary winding, where shown, powers the controller.
Applications
Pick the EFD15 PoE transformer by your powered device’s rail.
Embedded controllers, IoT gateways and sensor hubs with 3.3 V logic can take their main rail from WHTS15EF1665U, listed at 3.3 V and 3 A, without an extra conversion stage.
Splitters powering a non-PoE camera or USB device need a fixed 5 V or 12 V output. WH13F-50L (5 V) and WH13F-12L (12 V), both listed at 13 W, cover these.
Room controllers and valve actuators with a 24 V supply can take it from WH13F-24L, listed for 24 V at 13 W, so a single PoE cable replaces separate power wiring.

Already have a part number? Request samples or a quote.
Samples are available for evaluation, and selected parts are free of charge. Our FAE team will be glad to confirm the options for your project. Quotations need the part number and quantity; typical lead time is 7–10 days.
Send the part number and datasheet of the transformer you want to replace. Our FAE team compares output rail, power, windings and footprint, then suggests EFD15 candidates for you to validate with samples before production.
VOOHU is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. VOOHU’s PoE transformers are RoHS and REACH compliant (third-party test reports). Since 2018 VOOHU has supplied more than 1,500 customers, including 150+ listed companies.
FAQ & related guides
Answers on manufacturing, splitting rails and EFD15 versus EP13.
Start with WH13F-50L for the 5 V reference output, WH13F-12L for 12 V or WH13F-24L for 24 V. Ask the FAE to confirm candidates and conditions for 3.3 V. Then review input, load, controller and windings. These are not four adjustable outputs from one transformer.
Its datasheet requires the primary windings and secondary windings to be connected in parallel on the PCB as shown. Check pins, polarity and specified connections; do not treat parallel windings as independent outputs. Bias has a different function. Review the complete schematic rather than inferring connections from shape or output voltage.
No. A range or “≥” label is a filter category, not a guarantee of continuous operation at its upper boundary. Provide continuous load, peak duration and ambient temperature for datasheet review. Ask for FAE support if exact current conditions are not yet available.
Check the exact drawing rather than relying on the family name or a shared model. Review pin functions, windings, polarity, pad orientation, dimensions and safety spacing. Mechanical fit does not establish electrical compatibility. Include existing PCB constraints in the replacement request.
Yes. For a known part, send quantity, destination and requested delivery date for samples or a quote. Otherwise, share available input/output, load and space requirements. For replacement work, add the original part and documents; sales coordinates the remaining checks with the FAE.
Yes. VOOHU manufactures them in its own magnetics factory in Mianyang, China. For each EFD15 PoE transformer on this page you can download the datasheet, 3D model and PCB footprint, and request samples for evaluation.
Each EFD15 PoE transformer is listed for one main output, such as WH13F-50L for 5 V or WH13F-12L for 12 V. For both rails, a common approach takes 12 V from the transformer and derives 5 V with a buck regulator.
Both are listed at 13 W with a 12 V output in the 1.08–1.99 A band: WH13F-12L here, WH13P-12L on the EP13 PoE transformer page. Their cores differ, so compare drawings and board space first.
