Industrial Handheld Terminal Reference Design
An illustrative industrial handheld terminal (PDA) reference design for the terminal layer (mobile terminals) of the five-layer network architecture: a 4G / 5G cellular module + Nano SIM, USB Type-C for charging and data, Micro SD expansion storage, display / touch and scan-engine interfaces, single-cell Li-ion charging and PMIC bucks. Each position is marked with the VOOHU parts available, recommended part numbers and package pinouts.

Illustrative USB Type-C topology: the SoC's USB 2.0 D+ / D− pass the 2012 signal-line common-mode choke L1 to Type-C receptacle J1, with ESD array D1 (WHTA5V01P2C) in parallel on the connector side; CC1 / CC2 each have a 5.1kΩ pull-down to ground (power Sink), VBUS goes to the charger (see the "Charging" tab) and the shell connects to chassis ground. The two D+ / D− sets for the two plug orientations are paralleled in the receptacle or on the board; only 1 set is drawn. Series resistors and decoupling are not drawn.
