From servo drives, VFDs and encoders at the field level to PLCs, HMIs, industrial switches and edge gateways, industrial control systems depend on robust Ethernet ports and isolated serial links. In a battery energy storage system, the isoSPI daisy chain between battery monitoring units has to stay isolated along a high-voltage battery stack. VOOHU supplies BMS isolation transformers for that link, push-pull and planar transformers for isolated power in the PCS and charging modules, and Ethernet ports and protection for EMS controllers and data loggers.

IP cameras, PTZ domes and video intercoms usually take power and data over one cable, so the Ethernet port carries both PoE power and video.
