4K IPTV Set-Top Box Reference Design
An illustrative 4K IPTV set-top box reference design for the terminal layer (home terminals) of the five-layer network architecture: a Gigabit Ethernet port (PHY built into the SoC + Chip LAN SMD transformers), HDMI output, dual-stack USB 2.0, Micro SD and a Wi-Fi module, powered by a 12V adapter. Each position is marked with the VOOHU parts available, recommended part numbers and package pinouts.

Illustrative Gigabit port topology: the MDI pairs of the SoC's built-in Gigabit PHY pass the ESD arrays (4 lines each, 2 in total) into the VOOHU Chip LAN SMD transformers (1 per pair, transformer and common-mode choke in one), then to the RJ45 J1 without magnetics; the cable-side center taps go to chassis ground through 75Ω×2 + 1nF/2kV, and the PHY-side center taps go to ground through 0.1µF. Only 1 differential pair is drawn; the other 3 pairs are identical; series resistors and decoupling are not drawn.
