Industrial Switch / Industrial PSU Reference Design
An illustrative reference design for in-station ring-network industrial switches in the PV & ESS management and communication layer: a Gigabit switch IC brings out 8 copper ports and 2 SFP optical ports to form the in-station ring backbone; wide-temperature LAN transformers cope with the temperature swings of outdoor cabinets and storage enclosures; redundant dual 24 V inputs connect to DIN-rail industrial power supplies. Each position is marked with the VOOHU parts available, recommended part numbers and package pinouts.

Illustrative ports 1–4 topology: the MDI pairs of switch IC U1 (JL6110) pass ESD D1–D4 (WHALD03G4U) and the VOOHU dual-port Gigabit LAN transformers T1 / T2 (WHSG48001TG, with common-mode chokes on the chip side) to the 1×4 RJ45 J1; cable-side center taps go to chassis ground through 75Ω + 1nF/2kV, and chip-side center taps go to ground through 0.1µF. Port P1 is drawn with one pair.
