WHSG24301T1 Gigabit LAN Transformer

Both ends move: the WHSG24301T1 reaches 20 °C higher at the top and stops 20 °C short at the bottom.

It is not a wider grade but the same span shifted toward heat. Where the part's own location runs hot for long stretches — near the power supply, downstream in the airflow, inside a sealed fanless enclosure — but never has to start below freezing, the WHSG24301T1 fits; where -40 °C cold start-up is required, a wide-temperature grade from the 100/1000 BASE-T range is the right choice instead.

Single Gigabit port equipment whose component temperature can sit above +85 °C for long stretches but never needs a sub-zero cold start.

Typical cases are fanless industrial gateways, board positions next to a power module, and thermally constrained slots in equipment rooms during summer. The WHSG24301T1 has no PoE capability, so the port is powered locally. The deciding figure is always the measured temperature at the transformer's own location, not the inlet or room ambient. Other temperature grades sit in the 100/1000 BASE-T range.

MSL level 1, with a floor life of half a year at or below 30 °C / 60% RH.

Reflow peaks at 250 °C ±3 °C with 20 to 40 s spent within 5 °C of the peak. Ramp up no faster than 3 °C per second and down no faster than 6 °C per second. MSL 1 means the WHSG24301T1 needs no bake before it goes on the line. Not every part in the 100/1000 BASE-T range publishes a reflow profile.
