Where the port has to deliver power, the WHSQ24706-2PTG publishes 1200 mA per magnetic channel in the same footprint with the same pin assignment as the WHSQ24706G. That part is also a wide-temperature device with a different operating range, so check the steady current and the temperature range of the target port before fixing the choice.

Not advisable. The WHSQ24706G operates from 0 °C to +70 °C, which is an indoor equipment band and does not cover outdoor or unconditioned industrial sites where the temperature falls below freezing. The datasheet also gives a storage range of -40 °C to +85 °C, but that is the unpowered range for transport and warehousing and does not mean the equipment may be started at the low end of it.

Where a wide-temperature part is needed, the WHSQ24702-1PTG operates across the wider band in the same footprint and pin assignment as the WHSQ24706G. Component temperature also has to include self-heating inside the finished unit, and no temperature-rise data is published for this part, so confirm the margin by measurement.

The WHSQ24706G is rated MSL Grade 1 with a floor life of half a year at or below 30 °C and 60% RH. In practice MSL 1 matters more to production planning than the profile does, because it removes the bake and dry-pack handling that a moisture-sensitive part would need.

The reflow profile peaks at 250 °C ±3 °C, with 60 s to 150 s above liquidus. Ramp-up is limited to 3 °C/s and ramp-down to 6 °C/s.
