Are samples free?

Samples are available for evaluation, and selected parts are free of charge. Our FAE team will be glad to confirm the options for your project.

Who pays the shipping and import duties on samples?

Shipping and any import duties or taxes on samples are paid by the customer. We can ship on your own DHL, FedEx or UPS account, or you can pay the freight to us and we ship the samples.

How long does it take to ship samples?

Samples usually ship within 1–3 days by air.

MOQ and small orders

What is the MOQ?

There is no minimum order quantity. Pricing is tiered, so larger quantities get better prices.

Can I buy small quantities?

Yes. Request a quote on our website.

Lead time

What is the standard lead time?

Typically 4–6 weeks for LAN transformers and other transformers; 3–4 weeks for RJ45 jacks, SFP cages and connectors, protection devices and Ethernet ICs; 2–3 weeks for other I/O connectors; about 4 weeks for inductors. The lead time on your order confirmation applies.

Can you expedite an order?

We can work with you on the delivery date. Contact your sales representative or our customer service team with the part number, quantity and the date you need.

Packaging and labels

How are parts packed?

SMD transformers ship on tape and reel and through-hole (DIP) transformers in tubes; RJ45 jacks, SFP cages and connectors and other I/O connectors in blister trays; inductors and protection devices on tape and reel; Ethernet ICs in trays. Packing quantities are given in the datasheet or your quote.

What is on the labels?

Labels show the part number, quantity, production date code and ship date, among other details.

How are moisture-sensitive parts packed?

Moisture-sensitive parts are vacuum-sealed with desiccant and labeled with their MSL rating.

Payment and shipping terms

Which payment methods do you accept?

T/T (bank wire), paid in full before shipment.

Which Incoterms do you offer?

We usually trade on EXW or FOB terms.

Customs and import duties

Which HS codes apply?

LAN transformers are usually declared under HS 8504.31 (Chinese tariff code 8504319000). For other products, the code on the actual customs declaration applies; ask us for the code of a specific part.

Who handles import duties?

Import duties and taxes are paid by the customer; under EXW and FOB terms the buyer handles import clearance. Duty rates change often, so please confirm them with your customs broker.

Quality and after-sales

Which certifications and compliance do you have?

ISO 9001:2015 (certificate no. 19826Q02503R101) and ISO 14001:2015 (certificate no. 19826E01323R101), issued by Beijing Xinjiyuan Certification Co., Ltd., valid until 16 October 2029; scope: R&D and sales of precision electronic connectors. EU RoHS test reports and CE certificates are available for LAN transformers, RJ45 jacks, integrated-magnetics RJ45 jacks, SFP connectors and PoE transformers, and a REACH test report (253 SVHC) covers our communication components. Copies on request.

Which reports can you provide?

On request we provide environmental compliance documents, such as RoHS and REACH test reports, and outgoing inspection reports. Ask our customer service team or your sales contact.

How are quality issues handled?

Report the issue to your sales contact or our customer service team by phone or email. We give an initial response within 3 business days, agree on a solution with you and arrange returns or replacements where needed.
