The WHS160B1PTG datasheet states IEEE 802.3at compliant performance with 850 mA current capability — the highest current rating among the 100M parts in this catalogue.

The line gives only that one figure, without marking whether it applies per channel, per pairset or to the whole port, so read it as written: do not split it and do not multiply it by a channel count. When budgeting port power, tell us the per-port current you are targeting and VOOHU will confirm the applicable scope. Some parts in the Gigabit range do state both a per-channel and a full-channel figure.

The first page of the drawing carries a REACH & RoHS COMPLIANT mark, declaring both together.

RoHS restricts the content of hazardous substances while REACH governs declaration and authorisation of substances of very high concern; they are separate EU regulations, and equipment shipping into Europe generally has to satisfy both. Most parts in the 10/100 BASE-T range state only a RoHS line, and the WHS160B1PTG is one of the few that prints REACH alongside it. Where a project has to file a substance declaration, request the documents from VOOHU — the mark on the drawing does not substitute for them.

Operating temperature, isolation, the form of the insertion and return loss statements and the internal structure are the same on both; the current rating differs — 850 mA on the WHS160B1PTG against 720 mA on the WHS16002-1PTG, both against IEEE 802.3at.

Where the port power budget is tight, or long cable runs bring larger voltage drop, the higher rating leaves more room. The WHS160B1PTG drawing also carries REACH and RoHS marks, which saves a round of correspondence where a European substance declaration is required.
